Gunwife Gone
Sad girl music...with boys. Five people with very different musical influences coming
together to make music that will make you want to cry or scream or belt your heart
out or all of the above. "...its totally fun piano, sax, bass, and drums vibe still
sounding pretty effing jazz-as-in-Dresden Dolls-cabaret to these ears..." - Bret
McCabe, Baltimore City Paper www.gunwifegone.com

Odd Girl Out
I know what you’re thinking. Female musician: some timid little thing singing her
pretty, melodic folk songs, strumming her acoustic guitar in a coffee shop. No, wrong.
Take that girl and load her up on caffeine. Grow her up on Joan Jett and Letters to
Cleo; Hole and Green Day; Led Zeppelin and Heart. Now piss her off: take that
acoustic guitar and smash it. Tell her girls can’t play, let alone rock. Push her right up
to the edge. Now hand her an electric guitar, crank up the volume, and surround her
with a band of the same. That’s Baltimore-based Odd Girl Out: 5 girls, 60% power-
pop, 30% bubblegum-punk, 10% melodic rock, and 100% tired of playing by your
rules since 2004. OGO is Tawni on lead vocals, Bethany Petri on drums and vocals,
Eva Blackmer on bass guitar and vocals, Kristen Brzowsky on lead guitar and vocals,
and Selena Benally on guitar and vocals.

The Stalking Horses
Sarah Pinsker got tired of playing solo coffeehouse shows, so she plugged her
acoustic guitar into a DOD stompbox and recruited a band from DC post-punk scene
and the Baltimore rock clubs, combining intelligent songcraft with savage rock & roll.
Sarah Pinsker & the Stalking Horses have gained a reputation for their energetic live
show, playing bills from New York to Texas with Antigone Rising, Michelle Malone,
and more.  Their music has been described as "blissfully ragged melodicism"
(
Baltimore Magazine) and compared to U2, Joan Jett, and Sixteen Horsepower.
Sarah's first CD was produced by SONIA of disappear fear and released on SONiA's
disappear records.  The Stalking Horses will release their first full album this spring.

Dirty Mothers
A soiled woman, as with dirt, who conceives, gives birth to or raises children...Dirty
Mothers acquired their name a few years back when exploring higher consciousness
in a moon bounce.  Upon exiting the inflated womblike ride their clothes tattered,
sides splitting, chanting their new found mantra: "One big vagina, dirty mother,
coming at you, never turn your back on her," they graduated from the band name
Medusa's Son and firmly planted themselves at the altar of the Dirty Mother.  The
sound of DM's is a unique hybrid of folky organic trip hop, combining strong female
lyrics with soulful acoustic bass, rap/spoken word, acoustic guitar and hand drums.

Oracleyes
Kelly Ann Richmond is a Baltimore born artist, dancer, and musician.  She began
music as the singer of Platoon.  She started a project called Blue Star Kachina
playing guitar and singing her own compositions.  Soon after she joined up with
Tryst, she began moving toward a more electronic style.  She is in a solo project
called Oracleyes which embraces an electronic style messed with dance
performance.  Elaborate sets and art performance are always a part of the
experience.  Her goal with art is to express herself in as many mediums and create a
full sensory experience for the viewer while bringing all genres of people together.
She is idealistic and wants every soul to know our liberation is of our own creation.
Change is as easy as perceiving.
